| Our primary concern at ITTYBITTYPAWS is the well-being of our kittens. As such, we reserve the right to refuse to sell our kittens to anyone. Please do not be offended if you are not chosen to adopt a baby from ITTYBITTYPAWS. We carefully screen our prospective buyers to assure the best possible matches for our babies. Sadly, we occasionally must refuse an adoption. Our commitment is to provide a safe, secure, loving home for our babies and we trust that you will assist us in this quest. Reserving a Kitten Kittens are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. A phone call or e-mail committing to the purchase will hold a kitten for five days. If, at the end of the fifth day, a deposit or full payment has not been received, the kitten will be put back up for sale without further notice to the potential buyer. Most non-standard munchkins will cost between $125-$250. Standard munchkins start at $550. Kittens will be pictured on our Available Kitten page with individual prices being noted on each picture. Prices posted are for pets only. Please contact me for breeder pricing. A deposit equal to 50% of the purchase price is required to hold any cat/kitten. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. ALL balances, including shipping costs, are to be paid in full by the time a kitten is 10 weeks of age. Personal checks are accepted for deposits only. Balances are to be paid by cash, money order or cashiers check. Holding Policy A cat/kitten will be cared for at ITTYBITTYPAWS until the arranged shipping date or until the Buyer is able to take possession of the animal. This period of care is not to exceed fourteen (14) days from the time the kitten is 12 weeks of age. In the event this exceeds 14 days, the Buyer will be subject to a boarding charge of $10 per day. Boarding charges are to be paid in full prior to shipping or release of said kitten/cat. Spay/Neutering Policy Our kittens are ready to be placed in their new homes between 12 and 14 weeks of age. They are sold as pleasure pets. As such, they are sold already altered or with an alteration agreement signed prior to placement. The alteration agreement includes a $150 REFUNDABLE alteration deposit on standard munchkins. This amount is refunded to the buyer once proof of altering is received from the buyer's vet. Registration paperwork for the kitten will also be held pending confirmation from your vet of the alteration. Paperwork withholding applies to both standard and non-standard munchkins. Health Certificate By the time your kitten is ready to go to its new home, it will have received, at the very least, its basic set of kitten shots and been tested for feline leukemia. Each kitten comes with a limited health guarantee as well as a health record from our veterinarian. Shipping We make reservations and arrangements for shipping your new kitten, but the costs of the health certificate, shipping carrier, and airfare are the full responsibility of the buyer. These costs are not included in the basic kitten price. Currently shipping costs using Continental Airlines are an additional $250. Shipping charges for an adult cat will be $300. Costs are higher if other airline carriers are used. In the best interest of our kittens, we will not ship if the temperature is above 85 degrees or below 40 degrees. Any kitten purchased from us will come with a limited guarantee, its vet records, pictures, a few days supply of food and a copy of the parent's pedigrees. |
